Changing your career path at any time in your life can be quite daunting – and when you are “getting on” like I am – it’s quite scary. 3 years ago I became a Civil Celebrant and I gave a lot of thought to how I was going to promote and advertise myself. I knew I needed to stand out, as there is a lot of competition in this industry. The best money I ever spent was with signxtreme. To start with I had a sign put on my car and that was the best money (along with my dl card) I have spent to date. Just last week I was parked in James Street in Burleigh Heads when my phone rang. It was a young man enquiring about my services. I always ask my clients how they find me and with this one – he was on the rooftop installing an air condioning unit and was looking straight down on me. He said he had seen my car several times but wasn’t quick enough to take down my number. This time he was prepared. I have since met with Ashley and Carly and will be their celebrant in May. Another day I was traveling along the M1 when my phone rang and a couple were in the next lane waving and smiling at me. They had just been to Dreamworld to book their reception and felt it was an omen seeing my card driving along advertising my celebrant business. They felt I must be the one – and so another fabulous booking…. I have had too many calls to record from my sign and it has paid off a hundred fold. The following year I contacted sign xtreme and Mandy designed my dl card. Again this investment has been amazing. I leave my card with wedding planners, wedding venues and all sorts of other businesses connected with my industry. It is such a classy card and everyone is SO impressed. Whenever my card is lined up with other competitor’s cards the feedback is that my card is the first one they pick up. I can’t thank the staff at signxtreme enough as they have been an amazing part of an amazing ride – into an exciting, fun and romantic business. Thank you to all the gang at signxtreme!
